Jeffrey M. Williams

Jeffrey M. Williams was born in Caracas, Venezuela, in 1959 and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He graduated cum laude from the University of Florida in 1981, where he majored in political science. After attending La Sorbonne for the summer, he began studying law at University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, where he obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 1984.

From 1984-1985 Jeff served as law clerk to Honorable Magistrate Judge Justo Arenas, U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico and served as law clerk to Honorable Judge Héctor M. Laffitte, U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico from 1985 to 1986.

After his clerkships, Jeff concentrated on federal criminal defense as a sole practitioner. During this time, he gained ample trial and appellate court experience. In 1991 he founded Indiano & Williams, P.S.C. concentrating on general civil litigation.

Jeff is admitted to practice in Puerto Rico, the District Court for Puerto Rico, the First Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. He also belongs to the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and Federal Bar Association.
