Joanne Pimentel

Joanne Pimentel de Jesús joined Indiano & Williams P.S.C. as an associate in September 2021.

Ms. Pimentel was born and raised in Guayama, Puerto Rico. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico Río Piedras Campus in 2018. In 2021, Ms. Pimentel graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law.

Ms. Pimentel studied a summer abroad at the University of Barcelona School of Law where she did an internship at a local civil law firm. She served as an Associate Editor for the Revista Jurídica de la Universidad de Puerto Rico during her second year of law school and as a Senior Editor for the same law review during her third year. Ms. Pimentel also interned at the Puerto Rico Court of First Instance in San Juan for one semester. During her third year of law school she served as a student attorney at the Immigration Legal Aid Clinic at the University of Puerto Rico. During this same time, Ms. Pimentel also began working as a law clerk at Indiano & Williams P.S.C.

Ms. Pimentel passed the September 2021 Puerto Rico State Bar Exam and was admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico late January 2022.
