We served as local counsel in this case involving a breach of privacy by a medical provider resulting in the release of medical information. Our client sued on her own behalf and for those similarly situated. After discovery and a series of motion, this case was settled by mediation.
The Federal Court in Puerto Rico approved both the Settlement and the Award of Attorneys’ fees for producing this result for the certified class.
